Austin’s cocktail and taco scene never disappoints! Seven Grand, a Whiskey Bar and Las Perlas, a mezcaleria, are cleverly connected by a lively back patio featuring street tacos for a one of a kind happy hour experience. Seven Grand’s comprehensive whiskey program features a selection of over 400 premium whiskeys and hand-crafted cocktails both contemporary and classic libations such as the Old Fashioned, Sazerac, Rye Manhattan, Whiskey Sour, and Mint Julep.
We began our happy hour with a cool and sweet-tart Pomegranate & Whiskey Cocktail and made our way to the back patio that connects both bars.
Seven Grand and Las Perlas share an intimate back patio that is just perfect for hanging out with cocktails, tacos and friends. You will not be able to resist the authentic local street tacos from Asador sizzling on the grill and served up on the patio beginning at 5pm daily.
And, of course, they pair perfectly with the cocktails!
Las Perlas serves up an endless list of agave spirits and mezcal cocktails including Spiced Daisy, Poblano Escobar, and Oaxacan Negroni – as well as a great selection of Mexican beer. The mezcal Margarita and mezcal Paloma where at the top of our cocktail list!
Music
And keeping with the Austin-themed live music venues, the mezcaleria features a live music program on Friday and Saturday nights, including reggaeton, cumbia, latin dub, and chicha.
