Every year we immerse ourselves into three days of amazing food, wine, spirits, and rubbing elbows with our favorite chefs under the big Texas sky at the Austin Food + Wine Festival 2021. This year the festival was held in November which was genius because the weather couldn’t have been any more perfect for hanging out during the day as well as grilling outdoors with around 300 of us who purchased the All-In ticket option.
What better way to enjoy a night of hands-on grilling and expert tips on how to up your game than with entrepreneur restaurant owner and grilling expert Chef Tim Love.
The stage was set for chef and the grills were already fired up and ready for us! We each had a bagful of food including prime NY strip steak, fish, vegetables, spices, butters, sauces, fruit of dessert and lots of wine and a small bottle of tequila on the table for us to all enjoy.
Chef Tim makes the evening fun! His bigger than life personality kept us entertained throughout the night as we were instructed on how to perfectly cook each item for a delicious outdoor meal.
The grill was set for two people to share so it didn’t get overcrowded and he walked us through every step.

Everything tastes better cooked over live fire, including vegetables.
We were located at the front but even if you were in the back you could hear and see everything with the big screen.

OK. So this was so delicious and cooked perfectly.
We got a kick out of the head lamps so we could see exactly what we were cooking in the dark!
No shortage of wine for all!
Tim loves tequila so we got to do a shot with him with Avion Silver Tequila. YUM!
