Everything is better with a cherry on top and Traverse City Whiskey Co located in the Cherry Capital of the World has put their Michigan-grown cherries front and center with the wildly popular infused whiskey.
Way Up North to Way Down South
Recently, Texas has become the latest recipient of Traverse City Whiskey crafted in Traverse City, Michigan and of course one of the stars is the American Cherry Infused Edition Bourbon Whiskey made with cherries grown not too far from the distillery.
This whiskey is absolutely delicious and elevates any whiskey cocktail to stellar-level good. Many of the Traverse City Whiskey’s are based on their original bourbon whiskey which they consider the backbone of their portfolio. The vanilla, brown sugar, creme brûlée and spice flavors from the whiskey pair well with the sweet tart flavors of the cherries to create a unique whiskey elixir that will make you feel down right giddy!

Cocktails: Cherry Whiskey Smash & Cherry Old Fashioned
Whiskey Smash Cocktails have always been a crowd pleaser especially around here in Texas where we need a cool, refreshing cocktail to pair with the Texas heat and goes well with any event indoor and out.
The most important thing to remember about this and any cocktails you make is use the freshest ingredients possible. Fresh citrus always over anything bottled. And, make sure you have the correct bar equipment first! You can’t make a smash without a muddler!
Traverse City Cocktail Cherries
Don’t forget about grabbing a bottle or two of Traverse City Premium Cocktail Cherries. They are fantastic! You will be surprised how they make a difference in your cocktails. That crunch and cherry sweetness is just the best! I order them from Amazon and they can also be ordered from their website.
