Every opportunity I fire up my cowboy grill to cook over live fire. We need wines to complement most all we are cooking on the grill and this sparkling Grenache is elegant to pair with a your finest meal and casual enough to pair with most everything from the grill.Juicy flavors of this sparkling wine pair perfectly with double cut Heritage Pork Chops from D’artagnan which are thick and juicy, home brined and grilled to perfection and brushed with a Blackberry-Cherry Habanero Glaze. The grapes come from the Texas High Plains and the wine is made in the champagne method or methode champenoise- the way it’s done in Champagne, France and what Elisa is known for. You’ll taste Lots of juicy fresh red berries like strawberries, juicy ripe watermelon and the tartness from pomegranate and raspberries with a touch of toastiness with an ultra Brut finish. WOW! What a perfect pairing! Am I right ? You should have tasted this meal!
