A updated classic cocktail inspired by Alize’ Red Passion Liqueur and the sultry days of summertime!
Never-ending heat and humidity of these summer months force us to dream of the cooler days ahead that will surely be here before we know it.
Recently, I have become a beginner mixologist which was inspired by finding clever and refreshing ways to cool off while trying to ignore the sweltering heat. We love to have cocktails and dine al fresco on our new patio in the evening as the sun is going down. This has become a ritual and we will enjoy this until it finally gets too cool to sit outside until next summer.
The mouthwatering tartness of a juicy fresh green apple is hard to beat. And, when combined with the flavors of tart cranberry and exotic passion fruit and a hint of peach from Alize’ Red Passion Liqueur muddled together with fresh mint leaves, it becomes summer-quenching perfection!
What a great combination: Friends, New Mixology Skills and Summer Heat!
I must confess I am not quite ready for the summer heat to be over with yet…..
