Ski Shores Cafe on Barton Springs is the absolutely perfect meet up and hang out on the patio or inside. The patio has cooling fans and misters for a comfortable outdoor experience and there’s a playground for the kids and a game room, if you choose.
Everyone will get a kick out of getting a photo taken with your friends on the ski board in front of the mural. This is so much fun! Go there for the awesome cocktails and stay for the hot, fresh and crispy food and then hang ten!
Ski Shores Café is a hallmark of Austin and now you have another space to meet up!
This particular evening was extra special because it was the first time- in quite a while – I got to meet up with my group of writers, bloggers and influencers and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to be than at the cafè located in the cool and hip Barton Springs!
The food and selections are exceptional. Manager Richard Everitt let us know they take their food and beverage offerings seriously. They have a speciality cocktail offering to get your evening started as well as expertly made wide selection of beverages for you. Currently, my favorite summer cocktail is a Texan favorite, Ranch Water. They do it great! Ask for it!
We dove into the outrageously delicious fried crawfish tails (and going back for more) and crispy fried okra as well as the made to order burger. And, who doesn’t love crispy fried pickles dipped in ranch dressing!?!?! The salsa and queso live up to Austin’s high standards of it’s signature food. And, if a hummus platter or salad is your jam, you won’t be disappointed!
