Where you stay does make a difference on a vacation. This was my first time in New York on a mother-daughter trip, I wanted to make sure we were in a convenient location were we would feel safe and be able to relax comfortably after days of shopping, eating, photography and wine. The Tuscany is luxurious boutique hotel without all of the stuffiness of other big hotel chains. It is casual modern and fun to stay on any vacation to New York were convenience and ambiance is important to you!

The Tuscany, a St. Giles Hotel is a luxury boutique hotel centrally located in the heart on the city just perfect for a mother-daughter getaway. The Tuscany is centrally located in Manhattan on the tree-lined historic street Murray Hill and Grand Central Station is just three blocks away.
We were close to great restaurants and coffee shops, essential to our vacation! This is a nice location that is clean, visually appealing and easy walking distances to many places on your list close to shopping quick cab rides from here to just about anywhere you want to go. Our favorite rustic Italian restaurant, Maialino’s is less than a mile from The Tuscany and The Court and can easily be walked or a very quick cab ride. Check out what we ate! St. Giles Hotel, The Court is the sister hotel to The Tuscany and is next door. It’s as beautiful, modern and luxurious at The Tuscany. I will want to stay there on our next trip!
One afternoon we choose to stay close to the hotel just to relax. Beer & Buns, located inside The Court, the sister hotel next door to The Tuscany. Creative sliders such as freshly ground Kobe beef, white truffles, seared foiegras, and caviar meld into burger nirvana and paired with a nice variety of brew. They are open for breakfast too! Every staff member is kind, courteous, knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. They will hail a cab for you in seconds!
The Tuscany Lobby is bright and welcoming and comfortable just right for a sitting with friends or sipping on a cocktail in the evening. We grabbed a cup of freshly brewed Starbucks every morning while discussing our plans for the day.
The rooms were spacious, clean, nice, well-decorated with lots of light as well as natural lighting, too.
We were comfortable in the hotel and the rooms were meticulously clean, had a fresh scent and although the town never sleeps, we did comfortably and without noise from outside.

The bathroom and shower area is updated, pristine with modern features.
There is a huge and very nice work out area with modern equiptment to keep up with your exercise routine. The computer room was filled with plenty of stations so you don’t have to wait on anyone.
On the tour we got to see the Penthouse undergoing renovation. Check out this modern gourmet kitchen with all of the features an avid cook would love. Maybe one day I have a chance to create a fabulous meal for a girl’s trip or family vacation.
