Finally, after two years, The Wine and Food Foundation‘s Big Reds & Bubbles was able to resume this stellar event! It seems everyone was ready to have fun and enjoyed sipping on the finest of big red wines, sparkling wines, champagne and artisan bites by some of the most popular restaurants in Austin!
As a member, you have a chance to purchase a VIP ticket to the Members Only VIP Experience at Inn Cahoots one hour before the main event opened its doors at Fair Market, a very short walk from the tasting. We experienced high-value bottles of famous reds and champagne with a sommelier-led tasting experience while we savored elevated appetizers provided by Central Market catering. The VIP sold out quickly and I now understand why. Beginning the evening with the five wine and champagne selections were like no other.
This was my first year to walk-about and enjoy food from some of Austin’s most popular restaurants and wine tastings with my friends while sampling a dazzling array of some of the world’s finest champagnes, sparkling wines, as well as big reds.
This event was like one big cocktail party! Everyone was in a festive mood and smartly dressed and ready to have a great time.
Since 2002, this has been one of Austin’s favorite events and we were all so happy to see it up and running again!
