To begin Restaurant Weeks,Chefs Dan Kennedy(Vixen’s Wedding) and Philip Speer (Comedor) prepared a 6 Course feast for us at the gorgeous Made In HQ. Chef Philip Speer is the 2023 Chef Ambassador for Austin Restaurant Week! Remember ! When You Dine Out You’re Helping Fight Hunger ! We began the evening with a cool Pineapple Cocktail with Tito’s Vodka and after the introduction of the amazing culinary staff and Central Texas Food Bank we enjoyed ample courses of Tuna and Watermelon Crudo, Salad with Peaches and Salsa Macha Vinaigrette, Poached Shrimp with Curry, Elk Tamal with Molè, Peri Peri Roasted Chicken and jeweled Basmati Rice and Pavlova with Melon Sorbet.
The chefs stayed true to their culinary superpowers featuring the style of offerings similar to what you will enjoy at their restaurants. William Chris Vineyards wine was poured which paired well with the meal.
