Canned Cocktails with a Texas Spirit
Texas is known for many wonderful things born in the mind, heart and spirit of Texan entrepreneurs and now we can add Ranch2o Spirits canned cocktails to the list.
Entrepreneur and founder of Ranch 20 Spirits Amelia Gale Lettieri is a Dallas native. These amazing real alcohol cocktails in a can are the brain child of Amelia nudged into fruition by conversation with her husband Paul. Real alcohol is in the Gin Fizz as well their other nifty canned cocktails which is a departure from other canned malt beverages and seltzers.
In a very competitive and hot market for canned cocktails, Lettieri has earned the spot of front and center for high quality and convenient cocktails. Imagine a tasty and refreshing cocktail that tastes the same each time with quality ingredients and all you have to do is chill it first and then pop the top to begin the enjoyment!
The exciting August launch of Gin Fizz made with real gin was yet another addition to the already front and center canned cocktails. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Icehouse, located in downtown Austin on West 6th was the backdrop for the launch. Delicious appetizers and music set the background for Amelia to share her story of how she is changing the cocktail world one can at a time! As I mentioned, these cocktails are made with the real alcohol each classic cocktail is traditionally made.
As a tried and true lover of gin this was a win-win cocktail for me. For those who are newbies to gin this is a great way to experience all that a well-made gin cocktail has to offer. Amelia customized the gin by dialing back the juniper and increased the ginger for an extra refreshing cocktail you can enjoy all year around.
Ranch20 Gin Fizz and the other canned cocktails in their growing collection are convenient yet that’s not all. The Gin Fizz tastes great as well as refreshing, cooling and just enough alcohol (7%) to get the party started but not end it too soon. And, with only 4 grams of sugar, it’s a cocktail you can feel good about all the time.

There is 2 grams of added sugar in the Ranch Water, and 4grams of added sugar in each of the other drinks: Classic Marg, Vodka Soda, and Gin Fizz.
