Fun Facts! Triple Dog Irish whiskey is the second fastest-growing imported spirit behind Tequila.

According to Impact Databank, sales of Irish whiskey surpassed six million, nine-liter cases in the United States in 2022 to become the second fastest-growing imported spirit behind Tequila. Triple Dog is well-positioned for growth within the category.

Irish Whiskey uses barley while American whiskey is made with corn, rye, or wheat. Another difference between Irish whiskey and American whiskey is the length of production.

A product of Dundalk, Ireland, Triple Dog is a proprietary blend made with the finest malted and unmalted Irish grains, triple-distilled in copper pot and copper column stills. O’Shevlin tirelessly honed batch after batch until the final iteration of Triple Dog was perfect. Each bottle contains a spirit aged four to five years in French oak casks.

Triple Dog Irish Whiskey is perfect for Gift-Giving anytime and for the upcoming Holiday Season!

lnvolving a toast-worthy tale of three Irish men, Triple Dog Irish whiskey is a perfect gift for those who love this category of spirits. The history behind the creation of Triple Dog Irish Whiskey is an endearing one involving three generations of men in the O’Shevlin family. Triple Dog Irish Whiskey was inspired by creator Dan O’Shevlin’s grandfather’s recipe of 1916 which almost made its way into the recycle bin. But as fate would have it, after Dan’s grandfather passed away in Ireland at a ripe old age, Dan’s dad found the recipe on paper while cleaning out the house along with a few papers in a wooden box. He did not know what the handwritten scientific information on them meant. Uncertain of their importance, he asked Dan if he wanted to keep them or see them tossed out. Dan immediately recognized the written formulas as recipes for a whiskey and another spirit, and he promptly staked his claim to keep them. Later, one fateful eve with friends at an Irish Pub, Dan was “triple dog dared” to create an Irish whiskey. As a whiskey aficionado with a background in biochemistry, and with his grandfather’s recipe, Dan boldly accepted this ultimate challenge and took the dare, resulting in a new breed of Irish whiskey aptly named Triple Dog.

Why it tastes so delicious

Triple Dog Irish Whiskey is a spirit born of—and celebrating—daring individuality. It is a modern take on Irish Whiskey, one approachable in both taste (it is outrageously smooth) and price (accessible at $44.99 per bottle). Aged a minimum of five years in French Oak casks, this whiskey is equally enjoyed by connoisseurs, as well as those with palates new to the spirit. Triple Dog Irish Whiskey, at 40% ABV and 80-proof with a sweet aroma of toasted caramel, and a rich palette of crème brûlée, honey, and cracked vanilla bean followed by a defined citrus finish, is great to enjoy and sip alone and also delicious when mixed into cocktails. Whether you are gifting to someone new to Irish Whiskey or to a seasoned palate, Triple Dog Irish Whiskey is an excellent choice for Irish Whiskey lovers to add to their home-bar collection. https://www.tripledogwhiskey.com/
